On June 18, FAW Hongqi announced that its hydrogen fuel cell vehicle project had successfully passed key tests on hydrogen consumption and driving range at the China Automotive Technology & Research Center. The tests were conducted in strict accordance with the international CHTC-C test procedure, which is the most stringent. The Hongqi hydrogen fuel cell system demonstrated excellent performance in stability and energy management accuracy, reducing hydrogen consumption by 15% compared to competing products, reaching an industry-leading level. FAW Hongqi stated that its fuel cell hybrid energy management strategy was 100% independently developed. The success of this test marks that Hongqi has mastered the key core technologies for fuel cell hybrid energy management in the hydrogen energy field.
