Construction of Tianjin Green Energy Storage Project Commences with Total Investment of 5 Billion

On the morning of June 19th, the groundbreaking ceremony for a green energy storage intelligent manufacturing project, covering an area of 500 mu with a total investment of 5 billion yuan, was held in Tianjin. It is reported that the project will focus on the R&D and manufacturing of high-end products such as electricity ESS battery boxes, battery clusters, commercial vehicle battery swapping PACK plug-in boxes, large-scale electricity container energy storage prefabricated cabins, as well as industrial and commercial ESS systems, and two-wheeler battery swapping PACKs. The project plans to establish 15 automatic production lines for prismatic lithium battery PACKs, 6 automatic assembly lines for energy storage containers, and 2 production lines for industrial and commercial ESS, with a planned capacity of 96 Gwh per year.

Recycling: This week, lithium chemical prices fluctuated, while prices of products such as cobalt salt and nickel salt continued to decline. The coefficients for ternary, LCO black mass, and other products also maintained a downward trend this week. The prices per % lithium for LFP pole piece black mass ranged from 2,200 to 2,300 yuan/mtu, while for LFP battery black mass, they ranged from 2,000 to 2,150 yuan/mtu. Taking ternary black mass as an example: Currently, the nickel-cobalt coefficient for ternary pole piece black mass is 72-74%, and the lithium coefficient is 69-72%. The nickel-cobalt coefficient for ternary battery black mass is 70-72%.
