On the afternoon of June 17, the X9216 freight train, fully loaded with 100 standard containers of daily necessities, departed from Yiwu West Railway Station in Zhejiang Province under the supervision of Yiwu Customs. Among the cargo, a batch of consumer lithium battery products, including lithium battery drills and chainsaws, were mixed with daily necessities and transported to Almaty, Kazakhstan. This marked the first time that consumer lithium battery products were transported in mixed containers within the Yangtze River Delta region, representing a significant breakthrough for Zhejiang's China-Europe freight train service in the field of consumer lithium battery rail transportation.
