Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, issued the "Implementation Plan for Incentives and Subsidies for the Development of Public Charging and Battery Swapping Infrastructure for New Energy Vehicles in Wenzhou City" (revised draft). The plan proposes providing a subsidy of 0.1 yuan/kWh for the electricity charged by DC intelligent fast charging piles (battery swapping stations) in rural areas from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. For DC intelligent fast charging piles in rural areas, a subsidy of 200 yuan per kW will be provided, while for AC charging piles, a subsidy of 80 yuan per kW will be offered. For battery swapping infrastructure in rural areas, a subsidy of 300 yuan per kW will be granted, with the total subsidy not exceeding 30% of the equipment investment. Meanwhile, for DC intelligent fast charging piles in urban areas, a subsidy of 50 yuan per kW will be provided, and for battery swapping infrastructure in urban areas, a subsidy of 75 yuan per kW will be offered, with the total subsidy not exceeding 30% of the equipment investment.
