IDC: China's robotic vacuum cleaner market shipments up 21.4% YoY in Q1
According to the latest report released by International Data Corporation (IDC), in Q1 2025, 1.188 million robotic vacuum cleaners were shipped in the Chinese market, up 21.4% YoY. The growth rate of shipments exceeded 20% for two consecutive quarters. Affected by the "national subsidies," the trend of increased concentration among leading producers was more pronounced in the Chinese market than in the global market, accelerating market reshuffle. The market share gap among the Top 5 producers continued to narrow. While the cost-performance ratio of new products accelerated in upgrading, it also brought hidden inventory concerns, with some older models facing significant inventory pressure. Since 2025, the upgrade directions have centered around bionic mechanical arms and AI interaction, but the average unit price of shipments has declined, further squeezing the profit margins of producers.
