[Flash News] It is reported that in 2024, Shanghai launched a subsidy policy for the "trade-in" of e-bikes, which will continue until the month-end of June 2025. Currently, there are over 1,000 sales outlets in Shanghai participating in the "trade-in" program. Previously, Ma Jianhong, Director of the Shanghai Emergency Management Bureau, revealed during an interview on the "2025 Shanghai People's Livelihood Talk Show" that relevant departments in Shanghai are studying ways to optimize the subsidy policy for the "trade-in" of e-bikes, further simplifying the procedures, and exploring options such as waiving license plate fees and remote authentication. They will also consider extending this subsidy policy.
