Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On June 18, Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer Leapmotor announced that its cumulative vehicle deliveries had exceeded 800,000 units.

Leapmotor currently offers six models: the T03, C01, B10, C10, C11, and the C16. Among them, the 2026 Leapmotor C10, which hit the market on May 15, features five variants priced between 122,800 yuan and 142,800 yuan.

Designed as a global-oriented model targeting young families, the 2026 C10 incorporates upgrades across four dimensions—range, driving dynamics, intelligence, and design—based on the LEAP 3.5 architecture. It brings premium technologies such as an 800V high-voltage platform and LiDAR-assisted driving to the highly competitive 140,000-yuan segment.

The 2026 C10 is available in both BEV (battery electric vehicle) and REEV (range-extended electric vehicle) versions. The BEV variant features the full-domain 800V silicon carbide platform paired with a 74.9kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 605 km. Thanks to ultra-fast 800V charging, the vehicle can be charged from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity in just 16 minutes—nearly twice as fast as mid-voltage platforms.

The REEV version combines a 28.4kWh battery pack with a 50L fuel tank, delivering a combined driving range of 1,190 km and a battery-powered range of 210 km. It also supports fast charging (30%-80%) in 18 minutes, while maintaining a low CLTC-rated fuel consumption of just 5.1L/100km when in low-charge hybrid mode—balancing efficiency for daily commuting with flexibility for long-distance travel.

Leapmotor continues to refresh and expand its product offerings. The 2026 C16 hit the market while the delivery milestone was announced. The company is also growing its B-series lineup. The B01 model, built on the LEAP 3.5 platform, began blind pre-orders from April 30 to May 20 and is scheduled to officially go on sale in July.

On the retail front, Leapmotor plans to strengthen its presence in first- and second-tier cities throughout 2025, with a focus on improving network quality and operational capabilities. The company aims to enter 80 additional cities and counties currently without coverage, raising its penetration in prefecture-level cities and above to 90%, thereby broadening its reach and delivering better products and services to more consumers.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
