On June 13th, SSR Mining Inc. (Nasdaq/TSX: SSRM) announced the restart of operations at its Seabee gold mine, following a two-week suspension caused by temporary power interruptions due to forest fires north of the site. Power has now been fully restored, and the company confirmed that the mine sustained no damage during the outage.

The Seabee Gold Operations (100% SSRM owned) are located in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada approximately 125 kilometers northeast of the town of La Ronge. SSR Mining acquired Seabee on May 31, 2016 through the acquisition of Claude Resources Inc. On April 14, 2022, SSR Mining expanded its existing exploration platform at Seabee through the acquisition of Taiga Gold.
