2025 Southeast Asia Tin Industry Conference Field Trip to Renowned Enterprises – PT Arsari Tambang

On June 5, after the successful conclusion of the speaking sessions at the 2025 Indonesia Mining Conference & Critical Metals Conference – 2025 Southeast Asia Tin Industry Conference, which was hosted by SMM Information & Technology Co., Ltd. (SMM), supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a government supporter, and co-organized by the Indonesia Nickel Miners Association (APNI), the Jakarta Futures Exchange, and China Coal Resource, members of the SMM Southeast Asia Tin Industry Conference field trip team visited PT Arsari Tambang (Arsari Mining) to gain a better understanding of the current situation of upstream and downstream enterprises in the tin industry chain. They were warmly received by the leaders of Arsari Tambang.

During the field trip, both sides engaged in active and friendly exchanges on tin industry cooperation, laying the foundation for subsequent in-depth cooperation. After the field trip, the leaders of Arsari Tambang took a group photo with the members of the SMM Southeast Asia Tin Industry Conference field trip team.

Introduction to PT Arsari Tambang

Current Businesses of Arsari Tambang

Tin Mining and Processing: Holds a 2,175-hectare tin mine concession, separating and beneficiating valuable tin ore;

Tin Smelting and Refining: Plans to produce approximately 8,500 mt of tin ingots meeting London Metal Exchange (LME) standards in 2025, as approved;

Tin Product Sales: Sold 6,475 mt of tin ingots in 2024;

Tin Downstream Industry: A 2,000 mt/year tin solder plant officially commenced production in June 2025. Future development plans include a tinplate project.

Arsari's Business Strengthening and Diversification

Arsari expands its tin ore resource reserves through land and marine exploration, as well as mine concession acquisitions, and increases production by expanding its tin ingot plant.

Arsari will strengthen its tin business by expanding mining and tin ingot production through exploration, while diversifying into more advanced tin downstream products.

Arsari's Future Strategic Development

Arsari, in cooperation with a large, reputable company, plans to establish an integrated advanced tin industry in Indonesia with an annual production capacity of 60,000 mt of tin metal, including: 1. tin mining and trading, 2. tin smelting and advanced metals, 3. tin chemicals, 4. high-end solder materials and semiconductor materials, and 5. tinplate.

At the same time, Arsari will expand its business development with its strategic partners into other minerals: 1. nickel mine and hydrometallurgical plant for nickel hydroxide production, 2. alumina and its tailings processing, 3. potassium and phosphate mine acquisitions.
