By the end of May this year, China had implemented a cumulative total of 3,149 automotive recalls.
By the end of May this year, China had implemented a cumulative total of 3,149 automotive recalls and 6,396 consumer product recalls, involving 120 million vehicles and 110 million consumer products respectively, making positive contributions to eliminating product safety hazards and safeguarding the lives and property of the people. Next, the State Administration for Market Regulation will focus on strengthening the construction of laws, regulations, and systems, deepening online consumer product recall efforts, enhancing the efficiency of automotive recalls, reinforcing local regulatory responsibilities, and promoting industry self-regulation and standardization.
