According to foreign media reports, Meteoric Resources and Viridis Mining & Minerals have recently been included in the list of the Strategic Minerals Funding Program. The program, with a total amount of R$5 billion, aims to strengthen the strategic minerals supply chain and promote investment in the production, research, development, and innovation capabilities of critical minerals. Meteoric Resources has submitted an application, planning to use the funding for the expansion and obstacle removal of the Caldeira rare earth project, as well as the construction of a pilot plant and downstream rare earth separation and processing facilities.
