170,000-ton Waste LFP Battery Recycling Project Kicks Off in Shandong with RMB 500 Million Investment

【170,000-ton Waste LFP Battery Recycling Project Launched in Shandong】 The Environmental Protection Bureau of Dezhou City, Shandong Province, recently accepted the environmental impact assessment for a comprehensive waste power battery recycling project. With a total investment of RMB 500 million, the project will establish: 1 cascaded-use battery pack production line 1 LFP battery crushing/pulverizing line 1 wet-process lithium carbonate recovery line Upon completion, it will process 100,000 tons of waste LFP battery packs annually, including: ~71,000 tons for cascaded use Recovery of ~1,300 tons lithium carbonate Byproducts: 10,000 tons sodium sulfate, 1,800 tons copper powder, 4,000 tons aluminum powder
