[Anode Material Prices Continue to Fall Amid Supply-Demand Mismatch] This week, the prices of artificial graphite anode materials declined by varying degrees. From the perspective of the supply-demand pattern, the power market saw a pullback in procurement demand after the auto show ended. In the ESS sector, market trading activity cooled significantly due to the cancellation of the "mandatory energy storage allocation" policy, further exacerbating the supply surplus situation. On the cost side, the downward trend in raw material coke prices, which had lasted for two months, drove down the production costs of anode materials. The combination of these two factors pushed anode material prices lower. Looking ahead, the cost side may remain weak due to loose supply and sluggish demand. On the supply-demand side, although some companies may alleviate pressure through production cuts, the overcapacity situation is difficult to improve. Therefore, companies may offer discounts to capture market share.
