World's First AI Chip Design System Released
The world's first fully automated hardware and software design system for processor chips based on artificial intelligence, named "Qimeng," was officially launched recently. This system enables the end-to-end automated design of chips, from hardware to basic software, marking the realization of AI-designed chips. Moreover, its designs have reached the level of manual design by human experts in multiple key metrics. Relevant research findings were recently published on the preprint server arXiv.
