MMi Daily Iron Ore Report (June 10)

Today, DCE iron ore futures opened lower but closed higher, with the most-traded I2505 contract finally settling at 774.5 yuan/mt, down 0.06% for the day. Traders showed moderate enthusiasm for selling; steel mills purchased as needed, with limited inquiries; and the market transaction atmosphere remained sluggish.

Today, Dalian iron ore futures opened lower but closed higher, fluctuating upward throughout the day. The most-traded I2505 contract finally settled at 817.5 yuan/mt, up 1.43% for the day.

Today, DEC iron ore futures fluctuated upward. The most-traded I2505 contract finally closed at 804.5 yuan/mt, up 0.56% for the day. Traders showed moderate willingness to sell. Steel mills remained cautious, with limited inquiries.

In November, China's power battery production reached 100.0 GWh, representing a 10% increase compared to the previous month and a 67% increase year-on-year.

Today, Dalian iron ore futures opened higher and continued to rise, reaching a peak of 833 yuan/mt before slightly retreating. The most-traded contract I2501 fluctuated upward throughout the day and finally closed at 817 yuan/mt, up 1.87% for the day.

Price side, the average price of LCO (4.4V) in November was 140,500 yuan/mt, down 3.4% MoM and 37% YoY. Supply side, the production of LCO in November increased by 4% MoM.
