[16,000 mt Recycled Lithium Battery Mixed Powder Project Implemented] Recently, the People's Government of Hengyang City, Hunan Province, issued a public notice on the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the "16,000 mt/year Recycled Lithium Battery Mixed Powder Project of Hunan Liwang Technology Co., Ltd.", marking a significant step forward in the local field of power battery recycling and utilization. The project, with an investment of 48 million yuan, is located in the Songmu Economic Development Zone, Hengyang, Hunan. It mainly involves the construction of two production lines for recycled lithium battery mixed powder, along with supporting public utilities and environmental protection facilities. The project utilizes scrap electrode pole pieces from lithium batteries as raw materials. Through an advanced 6th-generation classified crushing and grinding production line, employing a fully enclosed closed-loop production process, it recycles recycled lithium battery mixed powder (a mixture of positive and negative electrode powders), while also producing by-products such as copper and aluminum particles. The project will be constructed in two phases, with each phase building one production line. Upon completion, it is expected to produce approximately 16,000 mt of recycled lithium battery mixed powder annually, with each phase contributing approximately 8,000 mt.
