Petroleum Coke Prices Rebound Slightly After Decline Amid Weak Demand

The price of petroleum coke at local refineries also continued to pull back due to the weak purchasing enthusiasm from downstream buyers. As June began and the Dragon Boat Festival holiday ended, some enterprises slightly restocked, and driven by the slightly warmer demand, petroleum coke prices stopped falling and slightly rebounded. As of June 6, the average price of petroleum coke at SMM local refineries had dropped to 2,293 yuan/mt, representing a decline of approximately 5.72% compared to May 9.
