Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau held the launch ceremony for the action of building an industrial metrology system and officially released the "Zhejiang Provincial Plan for Building an Industrial Metrology System for Magnetic Materials" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). The "Plan" is one of the first three industrial metrology system construction plans to be released. The total production of magnets such as sintered NdFeB and permanent magnet ferrite in Zhejiang Province accounts for 50% of the global market share and 66% of the national market share. Four major industrial clusters have been formed in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Dongyang, and Haining, creating a complete supporting industry chain system. The magnetic materials cluster in Ningbo City has been selected as a national advanced manufacturing cluster by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The formulation of the "Plan" focuses on issues such as the lack of specialized measurement equipment for the magnetic materials industry in Zhejiang Province, the absence of measurement methods for key parameters, and the imperfection of traceability systems. Building a magnetic materials industrial metrology system with Zhejiang characteristics is of great significance for enhancing the core competitiveness of Zhejiang's magnetic materials industry and accelerating the construction of industrial clusters.
