[Changan Auto's Business to Be Split into an Independent Central State-owned Enterprise, No Immediate Merger with Dongfeng] On June 5, Changan Auto announced that its indirect holding shareholder, China South Industries Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "CSGC"), had received a notification from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). Following the approval of the State Council, CSGC would undergo a split. The automotive business of CSGC would be split into an independent central state-owned enterprise, with SASAC fulfilling the responsibilities of the contributor. After the split, Changan Auto's indirect holding shareholder would change to the newly established central state-owned enterprise resulting from the automotive business split, while the actual controller would remain unchanged.
