[Chengxin Lithium Expands into Solid-State Battery Cathode + Electrolyte Materials! Indonesian Lithium Chemical Project to Begin Bulk Supply in Q3] June 6 news, Chengxin Lithium stated during an institutional survey that its newly constructed 60,000 mt lithium chemical project in Indonesia commenced trial production in 2024. Currently, the certification process for some key customers is in its final stages, with bulk supply expected in Q3. Additionally, the company holds an optimistic outlook on the development prospects of solid-state batteries and has established business operations in lithium metal, a critical material for such batteries. The company's lithium metal project has completed construction with an existing capacity of 500 mt, and ultra-thin, ultra-wide lithium strips have achieved mass production. Chengxin Lithium is also actively advancing the progress and construction of its newly planned 2,500 mt lithium metal capacity project.
