Average Bid Prices of PV Modules for Domestic Module Manufacturers from May 26, 2025 to June 1, 2025

From May 26, 2025, to June 5, 2025, SMM recorded a total of 27 domestic enterprise-won PV module projects during the week. The winning bid prices for PV modules were concentrated in the range of 0.41-3.69 yuan/W, with a weekly weighted average price of 0.06 yuan/W. The average winning bid price for the week was 1.37 yuan/W, representing an increase of 0.64 yuan/W compared to the previous week. The total procurement capacity of the winning bids was 737.97 MW, a decrease of 92.04 MW compared to the previous week.

 

SMM News on May 26: From May 26, 2025, to June 5, 2025, SMM recorded a total of 27 sections of PV module projects won by multiple domestic enterprises, including LONGi Lerri Solar Technology Co., Ltd., TrinaSolar Co., Ltd., Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., and Huansheng PV (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., among which 9 sections had disclosed installed capacities. The main types of PV modules procured and awarded this week were N-type and P-type PV modules. The winning bid prices for PV modules were concentrated in the range of 0.41-3.69 yuan/W, with a weekly weighted average price of 0.06 yuan/W. The average winning bid price for the week was 1.73 yuan/W, an increase of 0.64 yuan/W compared to the previous week. The total procurement capacity of winning bids for the week was 737.97 MW, a decrease of 92.04 MW compared to the previous week.

Key winning bid information from May 26 to June 5 during the statistical period:

  1. For the PV modules of the 60MW Fishery-PV Hybrid Project at Sheyang Huangshagang, Qingneng, Yancheng, undertaken by PowerChina Hainan Institute, Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. was the first-ranked winning bid candidate.
  2. The 505.75kWp distributed PV project at Factory Building No. 6, Banhu North 1st Street, Huangjiang Town. The project plans to procure a total installed capacity of 0.5 MW. Dongguan Zhongguang Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. was the first-ranked winning bid candidate with an average module price of 3.69 yuan/W.
  3. Lightweight modules for the rooftop distributed PV project at the 1-8# standardized factory buildings of the Aluminum Downstream Industrial Park in Jinjitan Circular Economy Industrial Park, Yuyang District. The project plans to procure a total installed capacity of 1.78 MW. Jiangsu Sunport Power Technology Co., Ltd. was the first-ranked winning bid candidate with an average module price of 1.10 yuan/W.
  4. Trina PV modules for the Xiongkou PV Power Station of the New Energy Business Division of Hubei Company. The project adopts P-type modules, and TrinaSolar Co., Ltd. was the first-ranked winning bid candidate.
