In recent years, trade between China and Southeast Asian countries has become increasingly frequent. Numerous domestic die-casting zinc alloy enterprises and end-users have decided to establish production facilities in Southeast Asia, with many choosing Vietnam as their location. It is understood that in 2024, nearly 2,000 Chinese enterprises set up production facilities in Vietnam, including many die-casting zinc alloy and end-user hardware manufacturers. Meanwhile, as uncertainties in current international trade increase, the model of relocating factories to Vietnam to achieve integrated procurement, production, and sales has become increasingly common, gradually becoming a market trend. To keep pace with the globalization of international trade and the market development of the domestic and overseas die-casting zinc alloy industries, and to reflect real price fluctuations related to die-casting zinc alloy both domestically and overseas, SMM plans to release the Vietnam Zamak3 zinc alloy processing fees.

The SMM Vietnam Zamak3 zinc alloy processing fees are formed and released by SMM based on this methodology, serving as an indicative price that can be used by both trading parties as a reference for trade settlement of Vietnam Zamak3 zinc alloy. This price reflects the mainstream price of Vietnam Zamak3 zinc alloy processing fees each month, i.e., the Vietnam Zamak3 zinc alloy processing fees. The price will be officially launched on June 6, 2025. Historical prices will be available for synchronous viewing on the SMM official website (smm.cn) from that date onwards. The price will be released before 18:00 on the last working day of the first week of each month.

Price Definition: The mainstream transaction price of Zamak3 zinc alloy processing fees in actual transactions during the current month.
