[New-Type Energy Storage Power Station with Longest Energy Storage Duration in Xinjiang Connected to Grid for Power Generation] On May 28, in Jimsar County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, the 200,000 kW/1 million kWh all-vanadium redox flow new-type energy storage project at Jimsar was connected to the grid for power generation. Among them, the energy storage duration of the new-type energy storage power station reached 5 hours, making it the longest energy storage duration among all-vanadium redox flow new-type energy storage power stations in Xinjiang. It can store a maximum of 1 million kWh of electricity in a single charge, which can approximately meet the annual electricity demand of 390 three-member households.
