NEA Sets Minimum Threshold for Self-Generated, Self-Consumed New Energy Power

[National Energy Administration: Requires that the proportion of annual self-generated and self-consumed new energy power generation in a project accounts for no less than 60% of the total power generation] A relevant official from the National Energy Administration answered reporters' questions regarding the "Notice on Matters Related to Orderly Promoting the Direct Connection Development of Green Electricity." The Notice requires that the proportion of annual self-generated and self-consumed new energy power generation in a project accounts for no less than 60% of the total power generation, and the proportion of new energy power generation in the total electricity consumption should increase from no less than 30% in 2025 to no less than 35% by 2030, guiding new energy projects to be consumed and utilized as locally as possible.
