REPT Battero and Hyosung Heavy Industries Ink MOU for BESS Cooperation

[REPT Battero and Hyosung Heavy Industries Sign MOU on Energy Storage Cooperation] On May 27, REPT Battero and Hyosung Heavy Industries of South Korea signed a strategic cooperation memorandum in Seoul to collaborate in the field of battery energy storage systems (BESS). REPT Battero will supply 2.5 GWh of energy storage products, including battery cells, modules, and DC containers, and provide technical support. Hyosung Heavy Industries will be responsible for global promotion and certification. Both parties expect to enhance their positions in the global energy storage market through this cooperation and jointly promote energy transition.

The industrial system has become increasingly complete, with China's production of NEVs, power batteries, and key materials accounting for over 70% of the global total. International influence has continued to grow, with products exported to more than 100 countries and regions. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, efforts will be made to further improve product supply quality, actively and steadily promote pilot programs for the market access and road operation of intelligent connected vehicles, as well as the "Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration" pilot projects. The supporting usage environment will be optimized to effectively address consumers' post-purchase concerns, encouraging consumers to be willing to buy and use these vehicles with peace of mind.

Shengyang Reports H1 2026 Revenue Growth, Net Profit Decline Amid Exchange Losses and Lithium Biz Loss
[Lead-Acid Battery Enterprise Update] Shengyang Co., Ltd. announced that its H1 2026 revenue was 2.027 billion yuan, up 18.18% YoY; net profit attributable to shareholders of the publicly listed firm was 110 million yuan, down 14.72% YoY from 129 million yuan in the same period of 2025; net profit excluding non-recurring items was 107 million yuan, down 11.93% YoY from 122 million yuan in the same period of 2025. The YoY decline in net profit was primarily due to significant exchange losses caused by RMB exchange rate fluctuations and the stage loss incurred by the controlled subsidiary Shengyang Lico's cylindrical lithium battery business, which is still in the incubation phase.
