Vietnam Withdraws Electricity Price Concessions, Sparking Investor Protests

The Vietnamese government has withdrawn some of the previously promised electricity price concessions, with subsidy cuts ranging from 34% to 50%. This has sparked protests from over 40 solar and wind energy investors, who claim that it may lead them to default on a total of $13 billion in equity investments.
