【Luminar Free + Xiaoyao Cockpit Launched: First to Feature Huawei ADS 4.0】On May 28, Luminar Automobile announced the official launch of its new model, the Luminar Free + Xiaoyao Cockpit, which will begin pre-sales in June. The new car is among the first to be equipped with Huawei's latest intelligent driving assistance system, ADS 4.0, and the HarmonyOS 5 smart cockpit. The Luminar Free + adopts a “floating light island” design style, featuring a 15.6-inch screen and is available in three interior colors: amber brown, deep-sea blue, and aurora purple. The interior is largely covered with leather, and the car is equipped with the upgraded cloud seat 2.0, an additional “queen's co-pilot” seat, and a 7L dual-side opening cold and warm box in the rear row. The box supports a temperature range of -6 to 50°C and has a 24-hour off-car insulation function and OTA upgrade capability.
