A subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group has won the bid for the 6×660,000 kW coal-fired power project (EPC) in the Bingzhun Industrial Park of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (03996.HK) announced that recently, its subsidiary, China Power Engineering Consulting Group North-west Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. (the consortium leader) formed a consortium with China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. and won the bid for the 6×660,000 kW coal-fired power project (EPC) in the Bingzhun Industrial Park of the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center (the "Project"). The bid amount is approximately RMB 14.586 billion. The construction of the Project includes six 660,000 kW ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating units, as well as the simultaneous construction of environmental protection facilities such as desulfurization, denitrification, and dust removal. The total construction period is approximately 36.5 months.
