This week, separator prices remained stable. The mainstream quotations for wet-process separators of 5μm/7μm/9μm were 1.35 yuan, 0.76 yuan, and 0.74 yuan, respectively. The mainstream quotations for dry-process separators of 12μm/16μm products were 0.45 yuan and 0.44 yuan, respectively. From the perspective of supply and demand structure, on the supply side, due to the long expansion cycle of the separator industry, the capacity accumulated in the early stage has not been fully absorbed, resulting in a persistent oversupply in the market. On the demand side, the demand for terminal power applications has weakened somewhat, while the demand for energy storage systems (ESS) is slightly better than previously expected by the market, with an overall slight increase in demand. It is expected that separator prices will remain stable in the short term, with low possibility of fluctuations.
