Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On May 27, Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance ("HIMA") announced that cumulative deliveries of its LUXEED-branded vehicles have surpassed 100,000 units.

The LUXEED lineup currently includes the S7 and R7 series, such as the new S7, the new S7 Ultra Sport Edition, and the R7 Extended-Range Edition.

The new S7 Ultra Sport Edition and the R7 Extended-Range Large Battery Edition both hit the market on April 17, starting from 299,800 yuan and 329,800 yuan, respectively.

Both new models are equipped with Huawei's advanced ADS driver assistance system, which features full-scenario perception and human-like decision-making capabilities. The system supports functions such as automated lane changes and overtaking on city roads, enabling seamless point-to-point navigation.

In terms of in-car technology, the vehicles come with Huawei's HarmonyOS 4 smart cockpit, offering features like continuous voice interaction, dialect recognition, and cross-device digital connectivity. Enhanced user experiences such as a 3D control desktop and smart split-screen display further highlight the company's vision of creating an "intelligent mobile space," particularly resonating with younger users.

On the performance front, the R7 Extended-Range Large Battery Edition delivers a battery-powered range of 360 kilometers and a combined range of up to 1,673 kilometers. Its AI-driven system integrates four key algorithms—optimal power generation planning, seamless power switching, energy management, and vibration suppression—to achieve a fuel consumption rate of just 5.68L per 100 kilometers in charge-sustaining mode under WLTC conditions.

Meanwhile, the new S7 Ultra Sport Edition features a 100kWh battery with a claimed range of 703 kilometers. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and achieves a braking distance of 33.5 meters from 100 km/h.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
