[First 100,000 kW/200,000 kWh Grid-Side ESS Power Station in Chengdu, Sichuan Officially Goes Online] On May 26, the Dengshuang ESS Power Station, located in Xinjin District, Chengdu, was completed and put into operation, marking the official launch of Chengdu's first grid-side ESS power station with an installed capacity of 100,000 kW/200,000 kWh. The Dengshuang ESS Power Station can provide a peak supply capacity of 100,000 kW during peak load periods. It is expected to supply approximately 60 million kWh of peak shaving electricity to the power grid annually, and a single charge can power approximately 100,000 1.5P air conditioners for two hours. The completion and operation of this power station signify a critical advancement in the energy storage segment of Chengdu's new-type power system's "generation-grid-load-storage" framework.
