China's 6th-Generation New-Type Semiconductor Display Device Production Line Achieves Full-Scale Mass Production
On the 26th, the 6th-generation new-type semiconductor display device production line built by BOE Technology Group achieved full-scale mass production in Beijing. This marks another breakthrough for China in the high-end display sector, injecting strong momentum into the development of the semiconductor display industry. As one of the world's most advanced production sites for LCD panels, BOE's 6th-generation new-type semiconductor display device production line has a total investment of 29 billion yuan, covers an area of 420,000 m², and has a designed monthly capacity of 50,000 substrates. According to reports, the production line primarily focuses on the R&D and production of high-end products such as VR display panels, small-to-medium-sized high-value-added IT display panels, and automotive display panels. Multiple products have completed customer sampling and are advancing towards delivery. (China Semiconductor Industry Association)
