Announcement of Selected Results for the First Batch of New Energy Projects in Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County, Yunnan in 2025

On May 22, the Development and Reform Bureau of Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, issued an announcement on the selection results of the first batch of new energy projects in Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County in 2025.

The announcement indicated that the successful bidder was Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Co., Ltd. The commencement and completion dates shall strictly adhere to the "Notice of the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Yunnan Provincial Energy Administration on Further Standardizing Development Practices to Accelerate the Development of PV Power Generation" (Yunnan Development and Reform Commission Energy [2023] No. 264). Construction shall commence within 2 months after the completion of the filing (the time required for handling pre-construction procedures such as forest land and land use approvals, environmental protection and water conservation approvals, and grid connection system approvals may be excluded, with the maximum exclusion period not exceeding 2 months). In principle, the project shall be ready for commissioning within 8 months after commencement and shall meet the conditions for full-capacity grid connection within 1 year from the date of commencement.

According to the competitive bidding announcement, the first batch of new energy projects in Cangyuan Wa Autonomous County in 2025 is the Sainong Agricultural-PV Complementary Power Generation Project, with an installed capacity of 120MW. For agricultural-PV complementary power generation projects, regulatory resources shall be configured at 10% of the installed capacity, which can be achieved by enterprises through purchasing shared energy storage services or building new-type energy storage facilities on their own.

I. Successful Bidder Information

Name of Successful Bidder: Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Co., Ltd.
