[Public Notice on Proposed Acceptance of the 10,000 mt/Year Ethylene Production and Supporting Project] On May 22, the Jiujiang Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment proposed to accept and publicize the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for the Chlorotrifluoroethylene and Supporting Project of Jiangxi Leeman Chemical Co., Ltd. This project is an extension of the supporting industry chain, proposing to build a new 10,000 t/a chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE) unit, co-producing 1,000 t/a trifluoroethylene (TrFE), and supporting the construction of a 20,000 t/a 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (R113) unit. The project is proposed to be constructed in two phases. Phase I will involve the construction of a 5,000 t/a chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE) unit, co-producing 500 t/a trifluoroethylene (TrFE), and supporting the construction of a 10,000 t/a 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (R113) unit.
