[BYD ESS and Grenergy Sign Another 3.5 GWh Energy Storage Order] On May 21, BYD ESS announced on its official account that it had recently signed an energy storage order agreement with Grenergy, a globally renowned renewable energy company, to supply 3.5 GWh of energy storage systems for Phase VI of Grenergy's Atacama Oasis project in northern Chile. Previously, BYD ESS had already supplied 3 GWh of energy storage systems for the first three phases of the project, bringing the total cooperation volume between the two parties to 6.5 GWh. The cooperation agreement signed this time is the largest energy storage supply agreement in Latin America. According to the agreement, BYD ESS will provide Grenergy with 624 MC Cube-T BESS units for the Elena PV ESS power station, which has a PV capacity of 446 MW and an energy storage capacity of 3.5 GWh.
