[Ganfeng Lithium: The company has formed a full-chain layout in the solid-state battery sector] On May 21, Ganfeng Lithium stated at an earnings briefing that the company has formed a full-chain layout in the solid-state battery sector, and possesses R&D and production capabilities in key links of solid-state batteries, including sulphide electrolytes and raw materials, oxide electrolytes, silicon carbon anodes, lithium metal anodes, battery cells, and battery systems. It is accelerating the commercial application of solid-state batteries. The high specific energy battery developed by the company in the solid-state battery sector has achieved an energy density of 420 Wh/kg, and a sample with an energy density of 500 Wh/kg has been developed, which can pass stringent safety tests such as the 200°C hot box and nail penetration tests. The company is actively exploring application innovations in the solid-state battery sector. In the NEV sector, it has signed a joint development agreement with a leading international automaker, and the development and on-vehicle verification of high specific energy lithium anode batteries are underway.
