NEV Sales Surge 39% YoY to 4 Million Units in Q1 2025

Institution: NEV sales exceed 4 million units in Q1 2025, up 39% year-on-year
According to the latest statistics from TrendForce, the combined global sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs), including battery electric vehicles (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, reached 4.02 million units in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 39% year-on-year increase. NEVs accounted for 18.4% of global auto sales in the first quarter.
