Shanghai: Intensifying and Expanding the Implementation of Trade-in Programs for Consumer Goods
The General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued the "Special Action Plan for Boosting Consumption in Shanghai." It mentions promoting automobile consumption by implementing the national subsidy policy for vehicle scrappage and renewal, as well as the city's subsidy policy for automobile replacement and renewal. It also emphasizes implementing the national subsidy policy for home appliance trade-ins, introducing new subsidies for the purchase of digital products such as mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches (bands), and intensifying support for green home appliance, furniture, and home improvement consumption.
