Li Yanhong: Over 1,000 Self-Driving Vehicles Deployed Globally
Li Yanhong, the founder of Baidu, revealed during Baidu's Q1 2025 earnings call that Apollo Go has now covered 15 cities globally, with over 1,000 self-driving vehicles deployed. Currently, Apollo Go is conducting open-road validation tests in Dubai, and tests in Abu Dhabi are expected to commence soon. Meanwhile, the scope of testing in Hong Kong has been further expanded. Apollo has also formed a partnership with CAR Inc. to launch the world's first self-driving car rental service.
