[SMM News: Main Part of the Project of Longonjo Rare Earth Mine in Angola Commences] London-listed company Pensana announced that the main construction project of the Longonjo rare earth project in Angola has commenced, with a $25 million investment from the Angola Sovereign Wealth Fund (Fundo Soberano de Angola) in place for the mine. The construction team, led by project manager Kevin Botha, a South African project management professional, has initiated key procurement and engineering contracts. Engineering service providers Pro-Process and ADP (Lycopodium RSA) have been officially appointed and have commenced operations.
