Ivanhoe Mines Temporarily Halts Operations at Kakula Mine in DR Congo Due to Seismic Activity

Ivanhoe Mines paused some operations at its giant copper mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo after experiencing “seismic activity.” The Ivanhoe Mines said on Tuesday that it temporarily suspended operations at the Kakula underground mine, part of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper.Ivanhoe Mines said seismic activity has significantly reduced in the past 24 hours, and operations can resume imminently.
