[SMM News] Patriot Battery Metals Inc. has expanded the lithium ore resources at its Cheechoo project in Quebec, Canada, and is scheduled to announce the feasibility study results by September. Compared to the estimates in August 2024, the updated inferred resources at the Nova Zone/CV5 have increased by 30%, while those at the Vega Zone/CV13 have surged by 306%. The high-grade ore zones are all classified as inferred resources, with the potential for further expansion. Currently, the estimated ore resources at Cheechoo stand at 108 million mt, with a lithium oxide grade of 1.4%, equivalent to 3.8 million mt of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE). The inferred ore resources are estimated at 33.3 million mt, with a lithium oxide grade of 1.3%, equivalent to 1 million mt of LCE.
