During the research cycle (May 13-May 19), the capacity utilization rate of rebar rolling lines in Central China continued to be adjusted downward; the start rate and capacity utilization rate of wire rod rolling lines remained unchanged from last week.
During the research cycle, the capacity utilization rate of rebar rolling lines in central China continued to be adjusted downward. In Hubei region, individual steel mills' blast furnace maintenance resumed production after the iron is not good, rolling line with the production reduction; Henan region, there are steel mills due to round steel order good and profit is stronger than rebar, rolling line alternate production round steel, which reduces the output of rebar, at the same time, the region's electric furnace plant is difficult to collect the waste, there are two days of shutdowns in the week. Under the comprehensive impact, rebar capacity utilization rate decreased, supply reduction. In terms of plant inventory, downstream demand is mostly just demand, and steel mills reduce production, resulting in the continued demineralization of the plant inventory. It is expected that most of the steel mills in central China will continue to maintain the existing production rhythm of rebar production next week, and only the Hubei area mills may lead to intensified production cuts due to poor iron output, and rebar production may decline slightly.
During the research cycle, the start-up rate and capacity utilization rate of wire rod in central China region remained the same as last week, and the mills produced according to the original planned production rhythm. In terms of factory storage, the market demand performance is average, and the inventory is increasing from decreasing to increasing. It is expected that the capacity utilization rate of wire rod in Central China will increase next week, mainly because individual steel mills in Hubei region plan to temporarily resume production of a wire rod rolling line at the weekend, which will bring a certain amount of increment.
