Titanium metal and its oxides (TiO₂), as critical materials in defense, aviation, medical, and other fields, are facing supply challenges due to geopolitical tensions and surging demand. The global market size of titanium dioxide reached US$24 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 3.7% from 2023 to 2030. Economies such as the United States, Europe, and Japan have all classified titanium as a critical mineral.
