Anhui Baomei Qingyang's Utility Model Patent for New-Type Precision Magnesium Alloy Formwork Receives National Authorization

Recently, Qingyang Baomei Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingyang Precision"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anhui Baomei Light Alloy Co., Ltd., officially obtained national authorization for its utility model patent titled "A Magnesium Alloy Formwork" (Patent No.: ZL202421378757.X), which was independently developed by the company. This marks a technological breakthrough for Qingyang Precision in the field of deep processing of magnesium alloy materials. As Qingyang Precision's first authorized patent, this achievement fills a gap in the company's innovative intellectual property portfolio.

This magnesium alloy formwork boasts significant advantages, not only perfectly inheriting the lightweight and environmentally friendly characteristics of magnesium alloy but also achieving a qualitative leap in strength and corrosion resistance. Through special process treatment, the formwork can effectively resist erosion from the external environment, greatly extending its service life and providing new solutions for the sustainable development of the construction industry.

From a technical perspective, this patent provides protection for the magnesium alloy formwork by establishing a direct connection between the stainless steel plate and the formwork body. This enables the magnesium alloy formwork to resist corrosion when installed on concrete, while also avoiding the risk of coating peeling. This technology can be widely applied in scenarios such as prefabricated buildings for construction activities, significantly improving construction efficiency and optimizing project costs.

In terms of industrial development, Qingyang Precision is fully promoting the construction and operation of a project with an annual output of 9 million magnesium alloy plates, leveraging the industrial advantages of Baowu Magnesium's magnesium ecosystem chain. This project integrates advanced processes such as die-casting and surface treatment, aiming to achieve green and efficient production, laying a solid foundation for the widespread application of magnesium alloy materials.

As an important part of the magnesium-based new material industry chain in Qingyang Economic Development Zone, Anhui province, this patent not only strengthens the company's technological competitiveness but also lays the foundation for the subsequent development of high-end magnesium alloy deep-processing products in fields such as NEVs, aerospace, and 3C electronics.
