Among them, there were 38 mine mining and beneficiation enterprises, with an ore processing capacity of approximately 10 million mt; 44 smelting and rolling processing enterprises, with a lead smelting capacity of approximately 970,000 mt, ranking fourth in China; a zinc smelting capacity of approximately 1.37 million mt, ranking first in China; and 13 enterprises engaged in comprehensive recycling and utilization of secondary resources. In 2024, the output value of Yunnan Province's lead-zinc industry above designated size reached approximately 55 billion yuan, a 3.8% increase from the previous year.
