It was learned from a press conference held by the Information Office of the Shandong Provincial Government that as of now, the installed capacity of new energy and renewable energy in Shandong Province has reached 125 million kW, accounting for over 51% of the total. In recent years, new energy in Shandong Province has continued to develop rapidly. Currently, the installed PV capacity in the province is 85.14 million kW, and the installed wind power capacity is 26.69 million kW. Meanwhile, Shandong attaches great importance to the consumption of new energy and has clearly proposed to improve the system and mechanism for the consumption of new energy and clean energy. In 2024, the utilization rate of wind power in the province was 96.4%, and the utilization rate of PV was 98.5%.
