【North American Auto Production to Decline by Approximately 126,000 Vehicles in Q2】For months, executives and analysts have warned that auto tariffs would lead to a decline in North American auto production. Data now shows this trend has emerged. AutoForecast Solutions estimates that due to tariffs, North American auto production will decrease by approximately 126,000 vehicles in Q2 this year. This estimate is based on automakers' production adjustment plans announced as of May 1, including both production cuts and increases. Although this figure is less than 1% of North America's total auto production of 16 million vehicles in 2024, it reflects the impact of tariffs on the automotive industry.
