From May 9 to 11, 2025, the finalization meeting for the "Practical Handbook of Copper Processing (2nd Edition)" was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The chief editor of the Handbook is Lou Huafen, the Chief Expert of Chalco Science and Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. The deputy chief editors include Song Kexing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive President of the Henan Academy of Sciences; Liang Shuhua, Vice President of Xi'an University of Technology; Li Zhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Central South University; and Huang Guojie, Chief Expert of China Nonferrous Metal Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. The editorial team included Zhang Dengke, Editor-in-Chief of Metallurgical Industry Press, Zeng Yuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, as well as the heads of each chapter and relevant experts, who all participated in the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the chief editor, Lou Huafen.
