LME Zinc Price Volatility Amid Trade Relief and US Economic Concerns

This week, the SHFE/LME zinc price ratio pulled back to around 8.3, closing the import window for zinc ingots. Overseas, both China and the US reduced tariffs, easing trade tensions. LME zinc prices continued to rise, while the US retail sales in April slowed down significantly and PPI unexpectedly declined, raising market concerns about a US economic recession, and LME zinc prices fell.
